Madadá Caves Tour

Embark on an exciting trail that, in addition to revealing the secrets of the forest, passes through peculiar rock formations, the so-called Madadá Caves. Finally, a delicious lunch awaits visitors at our Advanced Base, a well-kept secret 50 km from the lodge.

Regional Boat Expedition
A full day floating on the Negro River in a typical boat from our region. Along the way, there are scenic swims, moments of relaxation in a hammock, and a delicious lunch of grilled fish.

Visit to the local community

A unique opportunity to discover how the riverside communities of the region live, based on activities such as fishing, crafts, and agriculture. Community residents lead the tours, filled with stories and excitement.

Archery Techniques and Practice
Technique, concentration, and fun in this experience with original artifacts from the Waimiri-Atroari ethnic group.

Sunrise Contemplation
Embark on an exciting journey to the spectacle of colors that form in the Amazon sky along with the first rays of sunlight.

Recreational Fishing
A fun fishing trip through the region’s streams, where you’ll have the opportunity to catch piranhas and other species while enjoying the surrounding landscape. During dry periods, recreational fishing is replaced by a trail through the igapó forest.

An adventure through the countless canals, lakes, and islands that make up one of the largest river archipelagos in the world. Along the way, how about being surprised by a dolphin?

Canoeing through the igapós and streams
Immerse yourself in the flooded forest aboard caboclo canoes: listen to the symphony of the forest and appreciate the landscape of the igapós, the infinite reflections that form during the flood season. Magical and unforgettable!

Nighttime Spotting
In the dead of night, under the shining stars and the symphony of the forest, the forest becomes even more special. How about sailing through it in search of birds, snakes, sloths, and alligators?

HOW TO GET THERE
The lodge is located in the municipality of Novo Airão, in a sanctuary with over 1 million m2 of preserved forest, 180 km from Manaus. Overlooking the Negro River, the lodge faces the Anavilhanas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the second-largest river archipelago in the world, and a true paradise within the Brazilian Amazon.

Daily rates include round-trip transportation from Manaus by van, along paved roads, each way taking approximately 3 hours. There are two daily departures from Manaus to the lodge (8:30 a.m. and between 1 and 2:30 p.m.); and from Anavilhanas to Manaus (8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.).

For those who wish to experience the Anavilhanas Archipelago from a magical and less common perspective, the seaplane trip to the lodge is an unforgettable experience. It takes approximately 35 minutes and requires an additional fee.
